- How is age calculated exactly?
- Age is calculated by subtracting the birth date from the reference date. The calculator accounts for the exact number of days in each month and leap years, so the result is always accurate to the day.
- What is the difference between Korean age and international age?
- In Korea, the traditional age system counts everyone as 1 year old at birth and adds a year on January 1st each year. Since June 2023, Korea officially uses the international age system (만나이), where age increases on your actual birthday. This calculator uses the international system.
- Can I calculate my age on a specific past or future date?
- Yes. Simply change the 'Reference Date' field to any date you want. This lets you calculate how old you were on a past date or how old you will be on a future date.
